Migrating the Agile process to Jira & Confluence

On this task, the aim was to migrate the R&D department to a new issue management system to help engineers be more productive and help other stakeholders by making the product backlog more visible to them.

My role as a UX manager was to evaluate the current agile development process, find out what works and what does not work, and then build a system that will make the team more agile.

To achieve this goal, it required me to learn Jira and Confluence administration in order to build workflows, usage and security schemas, as well as making sure that the system will support both our daily operations as well as strategic development. I was also the one responsible for technically migrating data from the old system to the new system.
